San Kalpa: the heartβs deepest desire, highest intention, or solemn vow
A day to reconnect with your heartβs deepest intention, energetically reset for the new year, while continuing to embody the deep rest that winter brings.
This year we are unsubscribing from βnew year, new meβ. Mother Nature is still in the dead of winter when January 1st arrives, and she shows us that this is not the time for seed planting. This is the time to rest deeply and embrace stillness.
This is an invitation to reconnect to that still voice within. We will take our time to reflect, release, integrate, and get clear, yet without rushing into seed planting. This is about tilling the soil in preparation, letting this deep clarity be the foundation on which the vision boarding for our life stands, when the bloom of spring arrives.
Take some time for yourself this January to quiet the noise and recharge post-holidays. Although we are acknowledging the Gregorian solar calendar with this numerical new year, we primarily honor the lunar calendar and natureβs rhythms, by staying fully embedded in winterβs quiet embrace.

San: connection to greater or highest truth
Kalpa: an unbreakable vow
This Sanskrit term describes the ancient practice of intention setting, but through the yogic lens.
Unlike a resolution or goal, this is a sacred intention that comes from the deepest place of wisdom, already present within.
It flows from the self-understanding that we are already whole as we are.
This is our internal compass β the heart β that guides us towards the path that is most authentic to our soul.
It begs the question: what am I devoted to? what truly matters to me?

Yoga & Mindfulness have been the foundation of my well-being for as long as I can remember. It has been the vehicle through which I found clarity of mind, support of the body, and soothing of the spirit through times of suffering. My passion for the practice led me to feel called to teach, and share the healing benefits it has to offer with others. With a heart-centered approach and an overall message of wholeness, I see this spiritual practice as an invitation to return to the heart β a path for coming home to our true nature. I am so grateful and honored to share this all-encompassing and holistic approach to wellness, in community with you.
